Congratulations to the Loprinzi Finalists! We are Congratulations to the Loprinzi Finalists! We are proud to support these three individuals with a $10,000 award and wish them luck in their journey.
Saturday Scholarship Shoutout: Filmon Abrham
Filmon will pursue a degree in Engineering at Portland State and continue building on his strengths in mathematics, problem-solving, and academic growth. He demonstrates dedication both in the classroom and on the soccer field, where he has developed discipline, teamwork, and perseverance as a high school athlete. Filmon’s commitment to responsibility, family, and continuous improvement makes him a amazing recipient of this $10,000 award.
Saturday Scholarship Shoutout: Patrick Duque
Patrick will pursue a degree in Nursing and is committed to building a future in healthcare and service at Western Oregon University. As a varsity basketball captain and point guard, he has demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and dedication while earning recognition for his performance and character. Patrick’s commitment to community service through Key Club, Red Cross, and school-based volunteer work makes him an outstanding recipient of this scholarship.
Saturday Scholarship Shoutout: Anna Lindaman
Anna will attend Boise State University to study Education with the goal of becoming a high school English teacher. She is a dedicated student-athlete and leader in Cross Country and Track & Field, where she has served as a team captain and state competitor while also contributing to school leadership through the Student Athlete Leadership Team and National English Honor Society. Anna’s commitment to leadership, education, and creating inclusive communities makes her a remarkable recipient of this scholarship.

Scholarship funding was sent off to 31 schools ! O Scholarship funding was sent off to 31 schools ! Over $122,000 sent for immediate use and over $63,000 deferred to support students future plans. Thank you to all the donors and volunteers that make this process happen each year!

Saturday Scholarship Shoutout: Maddy Green Maddy, Saturday Scholarship Shoutout: Maddy Green
Maddy, the recipient of the 2026 Swanson Family Scholarship, will attend Columbia University, where she will study Spanish and Biology with plans to pursue medical school. She is a dedicated student-athlete and scholar who rose from learning to swim in high school to becoming a two-time Junior Olympic water polo competitor and varsity team captain. Alongside her athletic achievements, Maddy has excelled in the classroom, demonstrating exceptional academic discipline and drive.
As a water polo captain, she focused on building an inclusive team culture and mentoring younger athletes, and through her work as a swim instructor, she has emphasized water safety education and community impact. Her experiences have strengthened her commitment to protecting and educating others, while shaping her long-term goal of becoming a physician.

    The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a small staff. We are always looking for individuals to serve as board members, committee volunteers, to help with special events and to review scholarship applications. Working together, we can enable and inspire youth through athletics and education.

    We look forward to talking to you about your interest areas, talents and willingness to get involved!  Get started by completing this form – basic information, interest areas and two questions.  We will respond and find the best way to utilize your talents and time!
