MAF is powered by Multnomah Athletic Club members! MAF is powered by Multnomah Athletic Club members! During the Annual Fund Drive, every gift combines to open doors for youth—creating access to play, learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we turn possibility into reality.
At the Multnomah Athletic Foundation, we believe i At the Multnomah Athletic Foundation, we believe in the power of equity — on the court, in the classroom, and beyond. During Pride Month and every month, we reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where young people of all identities feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Our mission is rooted in access: to sports, to education, to leadership opportunities. That access must fully include LGBTQ+ youth whose courage, creativity, and resilience continue to inspire us. Together, we’re building a future where every young person has the opportunity to play, grow, and lead.

🎓 Scholarship Shout Out Saturday 🎉 Today w 🎓 Scholarship Shout Out Saturday 🎉
Today we’re highlighting one of our 2025 Loprinzi Scholarship recipients: Aniyah Burns!
Aniyah is a force. She plays three varsity sports (yes, three), has served as captain in all of them, maintains a 3.95 GPA, works a job, and leads as ASB President and Treasurer of National Honor Society.
But what really sets her apart is her recipe for success—one she’s crafted through years of athletics and hustle: Commitment. Discipline. Confidence.
She’s put in the reps, stayed late, missed hangouts, and pushed through self-doubt. Not to chase perfection, but to chase progress.
As a 2025 Loprinzi Scholarship Finalist, Aniyah will receive a $10,000 scholarship to support her journey in higher education and beyond.
Her dream is to become a criminal defense attorney. Inspired by her own lived experiences, she’s ready to fight for those whose voices are often ignored.
Aniyah is heading to the University of Oregon to study criminal justice, with her sights set on Howard Law. Because for her, success isn’t just about grades or accolades. It’s about impact.
Aniyah, you’re showing us all what it means to lead with purpose, power, and heart.

Stay tuned next week to learn about our next Loprinzi Scholarship Recipient!
