Full media and press day for the new MAC Scholar Athlete cohort.
Every March we welcome 29 new students into the MAC Scholar Athlete program. As the students are being welcomed into the cohort and the MAC Community there are a series of press articles and stories released around the new class of Scholar Athletes. In order to receive all of the media coverage that is needed for these releases, we decided to turn media and content acquisition into a fun event that mimics a college signing day.
The MAC Scholar Athlete Media Day takes place over the course of two hours and is duplicated on two different days to ensure that all 29 students are able to attend one of the sessions. With stations set up for headshots, action shots, video, interviews, Q&A’s, etc. we are able to get all of the content that is needed in one fell swoop.
Students are welcome to bring family, friends, and coaches to the media day. Local news outlets will be invited as well as school publications.
