Athletics makes me feel self-competitive.
In both athletics and life, Scott was influenced by his father, who played college basketball and is a dentist. Like father, like son – Scott also played college basketball and is a dentist.
When not on the basketball court or seeing patients, Scott spends time in his garden with his two-year old daughter, Avery, and enjoys woodworking, carpentry and DIY projects.
He finds inspiration in the Jim Valvano quote, “If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.”
