We’re celebrating the moments of joy, growth, and We’re celebrating the moments of joy, growth, and resilience happening across our community—students stepping up, volunteers giving their time, and organizations creating impact. We are highlighting the Aspen Institute’s Project Play “Square the Pyramid” framework.
Project Play is a national movement that focuses on helping kids be active for life by building a stronger foundation for youth sports. It calls for “squaring the pyramid”—expanding access at the base (physical literacy and recreational play) so more kids can move into sports programs at all levels, and fewer are pushed out too soon.
This matters because kids who have consistent access to play and sports gain confidence, community, and lifelong healthy habits. It’s the kind of positive, upstream change that strengthens entire communities.
