Celebrating the 2025 Impact Award Recipient

The Multnomah Athletic Foundation’s Impact Award honors a nonprofit that embodies community collaboration, youth development, and access to athletics. Each year we celebrate one grant partner whose impact on young people is undeniable and collaboration in the community is remarkable, and this year we are proud to recognize Portland Community Football Club (PCFC).

PCFC’s mission is simple and powerful: create access, belonging, and opportunity through high-quality soccer and wraparound support for low-income and historically underserved youth ages 6 to 18.

Founded in 2013, PCFC removes the barriers that keep kids off the field. Free uniforms. No registration fees. Excellent coaching. A place where every child, regardless of financial circumstance, can grow in confidence, skill, and community.

Their Family Service Program goes even further by offering mentorship, nutrition resources, academic support, and care that extends well beyond soccer.

In 2025, PCFC is deepening this commitment by fully eliminating all player fees and expanding partnerships that provide gear, translation, and transportation. It is a model that proves when soccer is truly accessible, everyone wins.

Congratulations to PCFC, a shining example of what it looks like when sport becomes a pathway, not a privilege.
