Lonnie is a proud Portland native, Benson High School alum, and graduate of Portland State University. While he played football at PSU, his favorite childhood sport was basketball – watching NBA games with his dad got him interested. Lonnie’s inspiration comes from his late grandfather, Erskine Bowden Sr., whose values and strength continue to guide him.
