Every day, teachers inspire, empower, and open doors for students, helping them grow into leaders, athletes, and changemakers.
This week, we honor the incredible educators who make a lasting impact on their students and communities. Your dedication fuels the future—and we’re so grateful for all you do.

In partnership with the @multnomahathleticclub , w In partnership with the @multnomahathleticclub , we proudly celebrated the recipients of the Al Tauscher Award last week—six remarkable young people who are actively engaged in athletics, school, and community. Each recipient received a $300 grant to donate to one of the Foundation’s community partners, making a direct impact beyond their own achievements.
The evening was a celebration of dedication, leadership, and service. Candidates for this award inspire others through their participation in extracurricular activities, commitment to their communities, and by demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
This year’s recipients chose to direct their grants to Portland Tennis & Education (pictured: Executive Director Campbell Glenn Garonzik), Friends of Baseball, Adaptive Sports Northwest, Portland Community Football Club, and Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation Center.
We’re proud to continue uplifting the next generation of changemakers in our community! For more information on the program, visit our website.
