The foundation believes youth have distinct and exceptional insights into the needs of other youth! We host an experience designed to assist 7th and 8th graders to use their ideas to create positive change within the community.
Participants selected to be part the Youth Grant Initiative Team will learn about leadership, non-profit organizations supporting youth athletics AND decide how to award $5,000 in community grants from a provided pool of funds!
The Multnomah Athletic Foundation is accepting applications for the 4th annual Youth Grant Initiative team. Participation is open to everyone. Application deadline is May 29th.
YGI alumni and foundation committee members will be leading an informal webinar this Thursday, May 14th at 7pm in order to give first hand insight into the program.
