Are you a team player and passionate about participation?

Do you believe athletics and play help youth reach their full potential?

Are you a community builder and a visionary?

Do you roll up your sleeves to dig in and help out?

If this sounds like you or someone you know, we want to hear from you! We are looking for individuals to serve as board members, committee volunteers, to help with special events and to review scholarship applications. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with limited staff. We need you to help us enable and inspire youth through athletics.

We have a volunteer driven format for our scholarship program and need 45 volunteers to assist with selecting award finalists. If that is not enough, we have opportunities on committees and with our special events. Most committees meet once a month, and volunteer opportunities happen all through the year.

The scholarship readers have a time commitment of 1 hour training, time to read and evaluate 10 – 12 application using an online system and then a 1 hour meeting to deliberate. The MAC Scholar Athlete Program time frame is January and February. The Loprinzi Program time frame is February and March. More details including specific timing on each volunteer opportunity can be found on the links.

Committee Involvement is open on the following (requires 1 meeting a month plus preparation time and special event attendance):

  • Communications
  • Finance/Investment
  • Grants
  • Scholarships
  • Youth Grant Initiative

Project team examples are:

  • Scholarship review teams
  • Grant review team
