Phyllis Johnson

Phyllis started her gymnastics career when she was 58.

Most gymnasts start their careers in the sport when they are 5 or 6 years old. Phyllis’ dedication to the sport so inspires the club’s gymnastics community that they created a scholarship bearing her name.

A scholarship will be awarded, starting in 2019, to a MAC female gymnast for post-secondary education who demonstrate her passion for the sport, dedication to excellence and ability to inspire others.

Michael Scott Miller

Multnomah Athletic Foundation Scholarships Michael Scott MillerMichael’s physical effort, attitude, and dedication to the sport of gymnastics inspired his coaches, teammates, and parents. He was a national caliber athlete and member of the Multnomah Athletic Club.

A scholarship is awarded in Michael’s honor to a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club men’s gymnastics team for post-secondary education.


Stephani Turner

Stephani Turner was a swim coach at the Multnomah Athletic Club. Her spirit, attitude, and dedication to her team and athletes are remembered.

The annual scholarship is awarded to a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club swim team.


Mel Fox

Mel Fox led by example. He was a proud graduate and athlete from Franklin High School. In his professional career, Mel served as the Athletic Director and General Manager of the Multnomah Athletic Club.

A scholarship is given annually to a graduating high school senior from Franklin High School.
